Looking to buy rather than book a contractor?
We sell the kind of kit we use ourselves. Tractors, sprayers, trailers and cultivation equipment, straight from the yard at Alveley.

What we take on
Every job is priced in writing before we start, and the same people turn up each time.
How it works
How a job runs
- You ring or send the formTell us the field, the crop and roughly when it needs doing.
- We look and we price itA written price per hectare, and an honest answer about when we can get there.
- We wait for the right dayIf the conditions are wrong we say so. A bad application costs you twice.
- You get the recordsProduct, rate, date, operator, conditions. Ready for an audit without chasing.
Qualifications
What we hold
- BASISQualified to make and record a recommendation, not just apply one.
- NRoSORegistered operators, with continuing professional development kept up.
- Red TractorFarm assured, so your assurance scheme is satisfied too.
Certification marks are supplied by the awarding bodies to members. We will add the artwork here once EAB Agri’s membership numbers are confirmed, rather than reproduce a logo we have not been given.
Before you ring
Questions we get asked
How far do you travel?
South Shropshire and the borders, week in and week out — Bridgnorth, Alveley and the ground around them. Further afield depends on the size of the job, so ring and ask rather than assume.
Do I have to buy the chemical from you?
No. We are happy to apply product you have bought elsewhere. Most people find it simpler to take both from us, but it is priced separately either way so you can see the difference.
What happens if the weather turns?
We do not spray in conditions that waste your money — too much wind and the product does not land where it should, too little and it hangs about. You are not charged for a pass we did not make.
Do I get records of what was applied?
Yes. Every job leaves you with the maps and the record of what went on, where, and at what rate, in a form your assurance scheme will accept.
Can you do variable rate on my ground?
Usually — it depends on what mapping already exists for the field. Worth a conversation before you assume either way.
Do you work alongside my existing agronomist?
Often, yes. Plenty of farms keep their agronomist and use us for application. We will work to their recommendation without trying to talk you out of it.
Got ground that needs work?
A conversation costs nothing, and we will tell you if we are not the right people for the job. We usually reply the same working day.
